I just had to name this one after my oldest sister. She's such a fun and loving person, but lives on the west coast. So I now feel more connected to her! this just had to be a great double coming from: doubly delicious dandy x velvet onyx. I'm not too sure just where that height came from, but I love it! not many doubles grow that tall!! No bending to dead head this daylily. This dark magenta double (98% doubling) is 6 inches with 3 way brancing and 18 buds. when it really heats up, I'll see a fine wire gold edge. This daylily also sports a lighter watermark, giving a lot of depth to the flower.
