now this is a feel good daylily. Makes you feel good just looking at it! I've had several requests about naming my seedlings. This was a suggestion from a past gardener wanting to make a grandchild daylily bed. It only took my 3 years, but I finally got there. dynamic dylan, combined the best from: cameroon night x fortune's dearest. It gets its height from cameroon night, I was hoping for a much larger edge from fortune's dearest, but I can still work on that! Fortune's dearest isn't the hardiest daylily here in zone 5, that's why I crossed it with a dormant. It has two way branching with 15 buds. Very stately in the garden (needs to be in the back, since it's tall). This flower can do some really interesting things when it's blooming. It'll curl and twist, sometimes, no action, other times, makes you stand back. For a smaller sized flower, it's just plain fun to grow!
