chevron delight. What a delight to grow this daylily. Go figure that I would get a chevron eye, using: edge of your seat x wild child!! That's the greatest mystery when making crosses! This peachy pink flower with a red chevron eye has great lines in the garden. It's again short at 24" tall (I'll blame both parents, since they are short!) but with 4 way branching and 20 buds, I can live with that! The mid ribs are lighter and it has a nice double edge of red/magenta and gold. 5 inch blooms, mid season bloomer and semi evergreen foliage. I know, I know, I love doubles, but a person can get bored crossing doubles all day! Ha! My next favorite form is unusual, but I'm totally enthralled with edges and I wanted to make a good edge for zone 5!
